These are the External storage devices I know.

Anyone have a rough idea on the prices of these devices?
Which are the ones that support RAW format and are compatible with mac?
Also, where's the best and cheapest place to get??

    Thanks

As a matter of fact, I have checked out buy and sell but I'd rather get it brand new. Just personal preference...

I've narrowed down to these few models:

    i) Vosonic 8360/8390
ii) Creative Zen vision W + multi memory to CF adapter.

Decided to get something that is more of a media player/viewer. Any good reviews on these 3 models? I went down to Funan today to have a feel on these models. Only managed to get to see Zen Vision W and Vosonic 8360.

The Zen has got a better look and feel and larger screen compared to 8360 but it is not mac compatible and max storage is 60GB.

The 8360 feels a bit more fragile and buttons are a bit flimsy. Sceen is not as crisp as the zen but it can support more memory cards without the adaptor. Able to go up to 160GB depending on the 2.5" HDD and compatible with mac. Also able to record directly from a tv or dvd player. Can view RAW files but read from somewhere that it has lousy customer support and outdated firmware.

Gonna try to find a 8390 to 'play' with then maybe I'll be able to make a decision.

Hope my 'mini' review helps. Just some info for those also looking for a portable hdd.
