One word, FANTASTIC! The 2nd pic really captures the colors. The 4th picture gives you the feeling of heaven.

yeah.. the river we sailed on was rather peaceful.. With no obstruction in sight, we could have the luxury of seeing the unbroken sky and sea...

Nice pictures! I still enjoy a nice sunset when I see one.

But coming to the title of this thread.....

"Whats a holiday without the Sunsets?".

Answer...........

Everything else! To me, a lot more than mere sunsets!

Thanks!

No, no PS for #2.. I shot it on the boat back to land... It was very cold at 5-10 degrees and very quiet.. Honestly, it was very beautiful watching the sun set... And the picture could only show 70% of it...

Haha.. thats true...

But what i was trying to say was that when you have a holiday, watching the sun set/rise would only complete the whole experience.. no?

Just for discussion only!

In my travels now, I do not really look for sunsets, much as sunsets always fill me with a sense of immense awe and admiration of the natural beauty.

I look for human experience in my travels. The last memorable experience of a "sunset" was in Sifnos. My wife and I met a couple from Austria. We met at their lodging to watch the sunset over the Mediterranean sea, with wine and titbits before going for dinner at the beach!

Now THAT completes the vacation! And we were friends since!

I am much more inclined to see the sights and sounds of the local culture.. To me thats something I dont get to see/experience everyday.. As for wine and seafood by the beach, thats only normal for one who is vacation, dont u agree?.. As with a good hotel and business class flights...

In MY opinion what completes my travels is that experience (and hopefully) pictures that no can duplicate or experience anywhere else..
