As a listing of current EOS models, would the following classification be appropriate if I set in comparison with Nikon with Nikon D200 as a semi-pro level?
Entry & enthusiast level: 350D (2005 Mar) 400D (2006 Sep) Expert & semi-professional level: 20D (2004 Sep) 30D (2006 Mar) 5D (2005 Oct) High end & professional level: 1D Mark II (2004 Apr) 1D Mark II N (2005 Oct) 1Ds Mark II (2004 Nov) I'm using UK's canon site for the listing. what would you recommend instead that shows a far more organised specifications of the canon EOS models with more variety and ease of reference? |

i think i can agree with those categories.
some may consider the 5D to be pro? but imo, it's semi-pro.

5D can considered to be a cheaper FF compared to those 1Ds.. imho, it can also be pro camera..

i thought classification is best by features and skills required. some newer entry levels may have better specifications and sensor technology compared to older enthusiasts levels, hence i tend to group rather by the amount of features and creative control.

5D is still considered semi-pro.
