Hi,
Anybody has experience ordering from this website? Seems to me that the price is quite good even after including shipping to Singapore. That's 1183.55 USD, about 1814 SGD!

Customs will inspect. Else people can ship drugs in. Better to get someone to hand carry in.

Yes; the Singapore fowarder will bill you the gst after they delivered the parcel to you.

Maybe this is a method for delivering lens to Singapore.

Apply for a VPOST account which is free. Below are some of the charges payable to VPOST.
1. Shipping Costs from US to Singapore cost 50SGD for a 4KG in weight or volume item.
2. Shipping Insurance cost about 40-50SGD for an item which costs 2000SGD.
3. Do check the item for any defects upon receiving the item.
4. All money is payable to VPOST before the item is shipped from USA to SG.

The website has links to assist you to make payments.
Considerations has to be made for internal delivery charges from store to VPOST USA PO.

Vpost is reliable but the process is quite slow. I often get stuff from ebay and if I ship direct, I sometimes get my items in 3-4 days. Whereas if I do vPost, it takes at least 2 weeks.

But Vpost is useful for buying from people / sites that do not entertain international shipping.

GST of 5% another USD$61 or S$94

Thats a total of S$1965 for 3-4 days wait. If damaged raise a claim against shipper. Worth it? Some yes, some no.
