becoz there's glass separating e photographer and the snake? these pics. are taken at the zoo if i'm nt wrong..

haha yes the pictures are taken in the zoo. As the snakes are very close to the glass and I use a 50mm lens... I was not able toget too close. The lens just refuse to focus when I get too near.

thx.. well, as i've said, i used manual focus. more accurate and faster.. e AF for e 50 f1.8 is kind of slow and inaccurate under low lighting. sometimes when i use AF, it struggles to focus because of the glass.. besides this, u nid to know wat u want to shoot and dedicate more time to wait for special moments of that subject. i seldom take snakes cause i'm kind of put of by e glass.. prefer to practise in those open-air enclosure like e fragile forest.
