Did you get such great shots with the internal flash?
All my shots with the internal flash were only good if they were standing within a few meters of me. All others had near-black backgrounds.

Were you the c2100'er with the wideangle lens?

I use slow shutter to have a background not too dark..

The one with wideangle lens is... Magixshoe?

I was trying to use slow shutter too, but any movement by them gave blur photos... even if it was just their mouth moving. So you were using the built-in flash only?

Yes, don't have an ext flash.. most of my shots even does not have any flash at all as i'm too far from the stage and i know that built-in flash will only give me lag and waste my battery.

opps

the guy in specs behind me that time was sausage

and nope, i wasnt using a wide angle convertor lens

1st day: shoot all w/o flash, as what u mentioned it really lags in between shots, go home review my shots

2nd day: flash all the way!! and it turned out quite well at least up to my expectation

maybe we c2100uz users should go shopping for an external flash setup?

But your shots were so well exposed! Can I know the exact settings you used? Shutter speed, f stop, etc?

This is an unaltered photo I got when I used these settings.

http://www.pbase.com/image/13638312/original

ExposureTime : 1/20Sec
FNumber : F2.8
ExposureProgram : Shutter Priority
ISOSpeedRatings : 200
ExposureBiasValue : EV0.7
MaxApertureValue : F2.8
MeteringMode : Division
LightSource : Unidentified
Flash : Fired
FocalLength : 20.00(mm)

Flash was fired, and shutter was at 1/20. It's still much darker than yours.

Am I doing something wrong?

Exactly... I'm wondering why myself. I was using a UV+polarizer, and was zoomed less than halfway. Could it have been the polarizer?

It's the polarizer. You don't use them indoor, not unless you want to cut down glares from glass surfaces.
