Using my MF600mm has been quite an experience. After several months of birding, here are some of the birds I have taken and wish to share with all of you.
Hope you enjoy these.![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I like all of them ... honestly!
1st pic ... love the catch light ... the top branch actually does nothing n can be easily clone off ... 2nd pic ... great composition n cool low angle ...if possible, creep slightly to left, so the grass would not block the head ... 3rd pic ... great exposure on the dark plumage ... u have brought out the 'glossy' n 'colour' .. angle is a little steep ... one of the way to overcome this is to wait for it to turn sl towards u and downwards 4th pic ... great use of DOF n great exposure on white ... better if wing flap is the same but having said all these, we all know that we cant control these wild fellows ... so there is always a 'better luck next time' ... haha |

Nice series. I like all of them. But if you really want me to choose I will go for #2 and #3.
#2 for that eyes level view, for the composition, for the color that give the mood. Only nit would be that glass which cut through the bird's head. #3. I like no. 3 for the composition, like the pose. Not really like the dark green background, may be a lighter green would make the bird stand out more. Overall I still like the whole series. |
