Default CMK Hong Kong

Hi,

I am thinking of buying the Nikon AF 50 mm f/1.8 from CMK electrical store, HK. The price is quite lucrative (new one at 680 HK$ ~ 135 SGD). Any particular issues that I should take note of?

Cheers,

Maddy

Well, most importantly there's a valid warranty card with the same serial no.

CMK is good, I bought some stuff from the CMK at APM Mall. Good service and the staff is very patient as well, let me inspect the item carefully and even brought out a few other pieces when I wasn't satisfied with the one that was initially brought out.

on every lens, there is a serial number on it. And for the warranty card, they stamped the lens serial number on it.

So wat u do is to make sure that the serial number on the warranty card is the same as the lens serial number. The warranty card is yellow colour. Dun mistake the grey warranty instructions as the manual. The grey instruction warranty instruction manual only explains wat is the warranty coverage, but the yellow warranty card is the actual thing that is required for warranty claims.

Thanks you all. Great place to ask questions as people make an effort to make a newbie like me understand
