All this big hooha about talents being not recognised and our education system is screwed because of paper certification.
So how do you judge talent? By what standards? Who is the judge (most parents will think their children are talented)? How do you ensure the judge don't use different standards to judge? How to deal with people who see the judge as bias (normally those who are not deem to be "talented" will make the most noise)? How to ensure all the talents are not missed out? What kind of system is 100% proof? How to know a person is talented when you haven't even seen that person (enrolment into some school) or during interview (only 1/2 hr to find out)?
If your answers to the above is to have some kind of test or exam to check if someone is talented, isn't it back to square one?
