V2 photo printing questions

Does anyone have any experiences in printing out ur pics at a photo shop?

Is let say a medium setting, 800X600 okay for a 4R print? or do we need something better?

Is there any standards to follow? For CANON IXUS V2.

i just need to know before i sent the pics to the lab to develop..dun want to be shocked to see pixelated prints.
