400D and powershot battery

Anyone using a powershot Sxx series and 400D? Can we interchange the batteries? Seems alright because the voltage is the same at 7.4 volts but the capacity for 400D is higher. Model for powershot is NB-2L and 400D is NB-2LH. I just want to confirm if it's totally ok so I don't need to buy extra batt for the 400D.
