Sony-Broadcast Monitor

Hi all,
There's somebody selling Sony Broadcast monitor PVM9044QM in the Buy/Sell forum, asking for $1300/-.
I've tried searching for the new price of this monitor but it's not listed in expandore or others, probably this is an older model? perhaps.
Would appreciate if anyone here know the price if purchased new?
Because if the price is too high, I may settle for a $900/- JVC model.

I thnk that Sony don't make CRT monitors any more, that's why you can't find the new price. I would check the age of this monitor carefully, and also the Sony support guarantee period. These monitors go out of adjustment through time, and need regular calibration for decent results. And the tubes fade and also can change colour with age.

8 units of the monitor for sales ( in good condition )

Most of these CRT care now being auctioned off for overseas sale. I have found some at these "Kalang Goo Nee" people for about SGD400-500.
