My First attempt at Portraiture

Hey all!

I convinced my girlfriend to model for me in a very makeshift studio at her place (comprising of a white canvas and some clothes pegs

). Been popping around the forum a lot and I've read some really constructive comments on some of the photos, so I decided to brave the storm and upload some of my newbie photos too...

I uploaded 2 other photos, but guess I'm not allowed to post more than 1 a week so... here are the links anyway!

(Oh I haven't done any post-processing for the photos - cos I don't really know how to - so I'd really appreciate some tips too!)

1/2 face dun work
can see nostrils, no good
hand shake prominent
spots detected

overall... not a keeper.

1 more thing, there's a stray strand of hair coming down across her eye, face.............

Thanks for the comments! I was just wondering, what spots are you referring to?

You gotta work on the lighting more and the colors of the pics...very dull...just my 2 cents.
