Default Which AF points when using AI servo

    Hi fellow CSer,

Just to ask what AF point should I be using when I am using AI servo (In Canon term). Should I choose all AF points or stick to the centre AF point?

Thanks in advance for any input.

    Cheers!

unless u are very sure u can keep the subject relatively fixed within the centre focusing point, choose all AF points. it will first use the centre AF point to focus, and if the subject moves away, the other AF points would be able to track it.

hmm...I thought when u switch to AI servo, u don't have to select any focusing point? The subject will be moving so fast until it will seems like a flash in the viewfinder...the camera will then automatically select the closest focusing point when u press the shutter button to get a sharp image? If u have to manually select your focusing point then what does the AI servo do? Is that what u are asking?
