Its abit tough when you're outdoors cos the filter cap just falls off easily. Can't use the normal lens cap as there are no screw threads on the slim filter. Anyone have an innovative way of managing this?

I don't put on lens cap when the camera is out of bag, just only lens hood.

The most common way is to put on lens hood and leave the camera on ready mode. After u done with the photo taking just take the CP off , blow the dust off and store it. When I move around I never put on the cap; never know when a good photog opportunity arises. |

Usually those slim type don't have enough filter thread to hold normal filter cap. Use slip on filter cap instead.
