    Default DSLR iso

    hi guys,
    i'm a noob at the DSLR, i've been shooting with film. but i was wondering whether the iso affects the grain in the photograph taken in the DSLR as much as when on film.. yes/no?

    if you are comparing ISO400 film vs ISO400 from digital, digital produce far lesser grains.

    In digital, it's called noise, but ya, they're almost similar in nature.

    It does....but at a smaller scale than film.(less grain at higher ISOs...with properly exposed photos)
