Is there any diff in the motor drive between D80 & D200?
One of the shop told me there is alot of diff. Would like to hear from the experience bros the important of motor drive. tks ![]()

Or u are talking about the motor that drives AFD lenses?

Yes, vertical grip for D80 and D200 are different. Basically vertical grip is used for: 1. Grip and shutter release for portrait composition (vertical). 2. Use of additional Li-ion batteries for extended shooting. 3. Use of AA batteries via battery holders BC |

isn't both D80 and D200 cam1000 ? how to have a difference?

Sorry to ask, the motor in the len is also driven by a small screw thread from the cam?

could it be because of the slightly lesser lag time that makes d200 seems faster?

This way it is only a measure of the speed of the motor used. Nothing to do with lag. |

I focus the floor and infinity for compare with D80 vs D200. D80 is slower for big zoom, D200 have a faster motor. ![]()
