Can Nikon Capture run on Windows Vista?

Has anyone tried running Nikon Capture on latest Windows Vista? Please advise any issue running.

Vista hasn't released yet.... dun think anyone will know leh.

It is out since last Friday evening. And I have got a copy

but not sure whether to install if it cant support vista.

Well, if you installed Vista, then you will know the answer right?

I mean.. somebody has to be the first to try it out...

yes, NC can run on Vista.

However, Nikon will no longer support Nikon Capture.

I've actually been using the official Vista Business Edition for close to a month already, since my tertiary institute provides corporate licences for it. But i don't use Nikon Capture, so I can't say whether it works.

Am I reading this right? If you install NC onto the Vista platform, Nikon refuses to provide you support for the software?

That is correct. Nikon Capture 4.4.2 will run on Vista platform.

Nikon will not provide further support on the old work horse Nikon Capture 4.4.2 and Nikon Camera Control.

Only Nikon Capture NX and Camera Control Pro will be supported.

Thanks, does that means NX and Control Pro will also able to run in Vista too? Since earlier software Capture 4.4.2 is able to.

Yes, NX and CC Pro will be able to run on Vista.
