I wonder if anyone have this problem. If you use a manual lens on a DSLR, it will work right? (mine does) But the problem comes when i stack a TC on it. Camera shows Err 01. I even taped all the pins meaning no electrical connection btw camera and TC but still the same. Any kind soul knows how to overcome this problem? All good advise will be apreciate.

look just behind the lens mount of your camera, there is a small limit switch at 10 o'clock position. some canon camera dont have it (eos88), but most have.
2 ways to use a m42 mount manual focus lens with this type of body are: 1) find a screw mount tc, use the m42 mount tc to the camera, while the lens can be screw mounted to the tc. 2) mod the tc. quite easy but difficult to spell ot in words. i mod my 25mm extention tube and a 2x tc (tele-plus). actually, it is the same as with extention tube.
