i heard d200 can handle noise level at iso 800 like d70's iso 200. True?

ya...D70s i at most touch until iso 640.... at iso 800, the noise is pretty visible already.... unless i really really really no choice, then i go above iso 640

I find that if you expose properly, a iso1600 image is still quite usable on the d200. But yes, you're right to say that you have to be mindful of the lighting conditions, but that can be overcome.
but beyond 1600? haha. some will say "have pic better than no pic". artistic grain ![]()
