Default Need help on ball head

    Hi,
I am planning to buy new ball head with panning feature. When I look aroung I found Kaiser 6012. I have my budget around S$250. I know acratech ball head is the best but it is too expensive for me. Can anybody advice me? Do you have bad experience with Kaiser.
    Thanks

did you consider the FOBA Superball Ball Head? Foba is quite reliable and popular among enthusiasts...

First for all, whether acratech ball head is e best or not is very subjective. It is very light indeed(abt 0.4kg) compared to Foba mini superball(0.8kg) and Arca-swiss ball head(0.9kg). If u don't mind the weight n slightly more expensive price,Arca-swiss gives u one of the toughest performance as it got anti-creep feature. This is very useful for big long telephoto lenses.

Decide whether u need to buy a heavy lens in future or not.Invest in one good ballhead and stick to it,rather than upgrading it everytime.Of course ur budget is also important.Dont overkill.
