Yes, it should be in the D200 body. Like a screw came loose and a springy kind of sound? I'll check mine tonight. The orientation sensor of my D70s makes the sound also. It's something which when you start to notice, you'll keep noticing it, otherwise you can ignore it.

Jeanie,
Did you place the body battery cover in the MB200? Maybe that's the one creating the noise? cheers. |

If you removed the MB200 and still got the sound on the D200,
it will be the orientation sensor and it is normal. |

most likely the battery cover and the secure flywheel attachement disc-screw ( you can feel it is loose anyway....
before i put in the mbd200, there is slight clicking sound.. after i put the mbd200 with battery over, louder clacking sound... take out the battery cover, there is still some clacking sound, but lesser... |

cant believe something so 'solid' can have these rattling sounds.
that's why when it comes to grip, i still love my f5 which has the vertical grip built in.just like d2xs or d2h. i'll check and revert tonight. now that i start noticing the sound, it's gonna distract me from concentrating on the shoot.doh ![]() |

Dude... There are already "anti-canon" and "anti-nikon" threads. Stop trolling. She wasn't asking if she should replace her cam with a canon, she was worried about a sound she was hearing in her Nikon.
Please take your fanboi comments to the Canon forum. |
