Default Vacation in Italy – Cremona

Cremona is home to the violin-crafting masters, Nicolo Amati, Antonio Stradivari and Giuseppe Guarnari. The violin-making activity is still the major attraction of the town until today. A few of the priceless antique violins are on display at the museums but unfortunately photography is not allowed in these museums.

An arched-corridor at the Museo Civico and Museo Stradivariano.

A window display of a violin-maker at Piazza del Comune.

School children are having volleyball matches at Piazza Cavour, where in the background are the bell tower of the Cattedrale and the tower of Palazzo Comunale.

The Cathedral in Siena was under restoration when I was there, so I couln't shoot the front facade of it. Other than that, I enjoyed every bit of my time in Siena. It's indeed a lovely place to indulge yourself with lotsa pleasure for a day.
