A famous Chinese proverb: Millions of evilness, money tops them all.
And what worry me is our top men keep talking about million pay.

History has proved that paying big money will not guarantee that you will get the best man.
History has also proved that a capable man with a benevolence heart will not ask for big money when serving the society.
There is also a saying, you pay peanuts, you get monkeys

Saw on small adv by Newpaper in today's Straits Times.

Durai son says "Dad will have to find a way to pay NKF"

Omg, look who is being protrayed as the victim here....

    Please lah..

I bet previously there were families of patients who said the same thing.

"Have to find a way to pay NKF " (Note: Old NKF)

The fact that he is still alive is testimony to the fact that Singaporeans are amazingly civilised.

In Italy or Iraq or Taiwan or Thailand or Pakistan or Argentina, the zillions of angry mob will get to him first.

Bcos, in spore, things gahman never say can do, we civilians cannot do.

remember there is a story on the No U - Turn Syndrome ,( NUTS ) by our very own Mr Sim.He said, In the US, one can U Turn anywhere, except places where their gahman put up a sign that says No U-Turn.
In spore One cannot U - Turn , unless at junctions where our gahman puts up U-turn sign.

Death is a light sentence . There is karma, i'm just waiting for the day he's entering Changi " Chalet". The " holiday makers" there will repay him his karma. There will definitely be some " holidayers" with friends or family members suffering from kidney illness and not having enough subsidy during his term of office.

Maybe some intellectual "holidayers" might release a book titled, The Day "He" Dropped The Soap - The "Inside" story ,

Under the conspiracy theory, the above statement could possibly be true!

In a highly regulated business environment coupled with high auditing standard, how could one man alone chart the direction of a prominent charity organization right under the radar screen of MOH?

From newspaper reports, it is clear that the whistle blowers were systematically silenced, including the reporter who brought old NKF into light. Had Durai accepted the initial 70k offered by SPH, today you and I will still be watching the charity gala show.
Consciousness must has hit Durai hard that he decided to blow whistle on himself by refusing the settlement amount and fight it out in the court. Isn’t he a good man after all?

Durai is not a problem any more, he is history.
    My concerns are;
    1) Who is behind Durai’s actions, whose head should roll beside Durai’s?
    2) Is Old NKF the only one, could it be more out there?

After reading a ST Forum article, where HDB claims that anything below market price is a subsidy, it makes me start to wonder again. Do you know what I am wondering about?

By the way, how much did the eilte made us loss in Shin Crop? Any ball park figure?
Cool theory. but yes.. there is some parts worth investigating.. he threw in the towel just like that.. quite a show-stopper.

for your last question. I believe in billions.. and not single digit billions.. Those were written off as "risks involved" as with any othe investments.

it was actually replaced with a normal plated tap, but also quite high-end market one, after the contractor had made noise.
