Wedding photographers needed for 7 Jul 2007 (and/or other hot dates)

Hi all,

This is a bid to help the many couples that have enquired about this date that i have to reject as i have been booked many moons ago.

I'm sure this is also happening to many popular wedding photographers.

As such, I would like to generate a list here of photographers who are still available on that date that i may refer such couples to you.

Do take note of a few things:

Since the couple has approached me, they are seeking something of a higher standard. i am not blowing my horn, it's just logic. that said, they also probably have a higher budget. so whether or not they are willing to pay less for less quality is entirely up to them. in desperate situations such as this hot date, they might have to.

This referral is a gesture of goodwill and you will handle the customer entirely. i will bear no responsibility after the referral. (I have been "blamed" for giving a "bad" referral before - long story won't get into it.) and no, i won't be collecting any commission or fees on behalf or anything.

You will need an online portfolio so that when i refer, the customer can go ahead and view it and contact u. i will be hands off from there.

Other wedding photographers here that need contacts of those that are still available can work off this thread too, i don't mind, i'm just feeling sorry for all the couples that i have to reject. i have rejected at least 30 emails/calls/sms for that date alone.

so, would you please, leave your name, contact details and portfolio here on this thread. if you are not comfortable about leaving contacts in public here, i can't help you, becos i can't do this administration in private, i need a collective point for the information (hence this thread) to refer to whenever i get a request for this date.

those that do not have a portfolio but still feel they can do the job can list ur names too, but i will be referring those that have portfolios first.

to other wedding photographers : feel free to list other hot dates that couples are looking for photographers for and you and those you know are already booked.

last but not least, there are plenty of people who would shoot wedding for free and what not, this is not an invitation for opportunity to learn. i am doing this to help my couples. if you feel the same way, then help me help them. i'll be darned if i get "blamed" for poor referrals again becos of some overzealous photographer wanting to build portfolio and disregards the true essence and meaning of wedding photography.

(for some reason, i am not hopeful that this list will be very populated, but let's just see how!)

there are reasons why i seldom or never refer customers directly to clubsnap to look for photographers.

these reasons are also possibly known to you.

i think 080808 is in lunar 7th month so might not be so hot... we'll see.
