I read both books about 2-3 years ago, which I thought were great books. I watched the movie, Eragon, and try as I might, I felt the movie did not do the book any justice. Well, I guess this happens each time a movie is adapted from a book. I am also eagerly anticipating for the third installation of this Trilogy. My hunch is that a green Dragon will be the cover for the 3rd installation. I think I should 're-visit' both books soon.

Anyway, I've noticed that a couple of CSers have been reading Mitch Albom's latest book, For One More Day. How is that book? Is it as good as his other books (Tuesdays with Morrie & 5 People You Meet In Heaven)? I think this will be another book on my 'To-Read' list.

now on the hunt for another book to read...any recommendations?

i'm in the mood for a fiction book this time, somewhat along the lines of Michael Crichton (yea i know, i know).

i'm sure "simple" in this instance is being used in its most abstract form of the word

It's pronounced as 'Pi' but it is not a book about mathematical formulas or whatnot. It is about a boy whose name is Pi, and had to live in a lifeboat for several months with a menagerie of live animals (hyena, orang-utan, bengal tiger, zebra).
