Default What to buy together with 717

I am making a list for my little beginner photography.

Since i will most prob be buying a 717 or mayb a 7Hi so what should i get along with the camera?

Additional Lens, i really know nuts about lens but i guess i will need a UV lens but not sure what kinda lens to get. seems HOYA should be good enough rite.

Bag, most likely i will bring it out with the minimal setup so a pouch or sling bag will do.

Additional accessories, i am still not sure what kinda accessories to get together...

Can you guys help with the list & price & also with the place to get?

Thanks.

Well you don't want to "degrade" the Zeiss lens, so I would recommend the B+W UV-Haze filter. Around $50 i think. Haven't tried the Hoya ones, though. Forget about taking Nightshots with any filter, you just get lots of internal reflections.

For flash, you can get the Metz 32MZ-3, because there should be a TTL attachment for it soon. Around $200.

Definitely get a 128MB Memory Stick as the 32MB one is not enough at 2MB a shot.

A bag such as the Lowepro Lumina 2 (about $30?) would be able to accomodate the camera, flash and perhaps a conversion lens, although I really like the Sony cases (expensive though).

I think CP sells the B+W filters.
Yes there is a price diff between the white (MagicGate) ones and the blue (normal) ones. Don't get the MagicGates ones now as (1) you probably don't have anything else to use them with (2) if you do, the coming Memory Stick Pro supports this already.

No, you can charge the battery in-camera too, although I would prefer a seperate battery charger (like my old F55) so I can charge the batteries when the camera is in the drybox The charger, BC-VM50 is around $100.
