sigma 120-300 2.8 feedback?

Any fellow photogs shot with this piece of glass before and able to give some feedback? Especially on the 200-300 range wide-open. Looking at shooting some fast action sports and maybe a little wildlife with this range. And also its performance when fitted with a 1.4x and 2x TC

(pls don't compare to a 300/2.8 prime pls... i've tried it before. performance fantastic and the price is well... just a little beyond my reach)

[add-on] Oh, to be more precise, how is this glass on a Nikon body. From reading reviews off the net, there seems to be a perpetual back-focus issue on a nikon body that is absent when coupled with a canon body??

donchua where r u :P i know you're a big gun person. pls give me some of your thoughts on this.

Look for a thread in this section of the forum as well regarding the 120-300 sigma by comB. He has posted quite a few shots with and without TC.

I'm looking to try this lens as well.
