sigma 18-200mm F3.5-6.3 DC

anybody try the lense before??

the quality of pic good or not ??

the angle it cover really fanstatic, feel like changing my new sigma 70-300mm apo to this lense instead....

any one got any opinions ??

i used it just a few weeks after it was released in spore. it's a good lens. sharp at 18mm wide open but at 200mm wide open pics become a little soft but still adequate for 4R prints. plus handholding is a problem at f/6.3 200mm. however, i find contrast and colour to be really good for a lens of such extreme designs

If i am not wrong, sigma is coming out the OS version very soon. Then you will not have that much trouble when shooting at f6.3 at 200mm. Not sure if it has arrived in SG yet.

if you are considering this lense.. there is another lens from tamron with the exact same focal length too...

and for nikon users, there is a VR lens at F3.5-5.6 if you are interested..
