Thought of trying this place after hearing about it from some other CSer. There's a clear nice view of the fireworks, and there are plenty of space to go around, but I guess I sucks at fireworks. Gotten all the timings wrong. Oh well, better luck next time then.

Nice work bro.
I liked #3 and #4, can see the Singapore skyline as a backdrop. Care to share your ulu location ? Is it from that newly opened golf course ? I guess so.

I think they are shot from East Coast Park, near Tanjong Rhu area.

Can tell me what settings you used to take fireworks?
My fireworks pics always got the surrounding smoke that destroy the whole thing. ![]() |

Quite a number of people shot from Marina East last August during the Fireworks Festival.
Good facing (the more you move leftwards, the more perpendicular you're to the fireworks firing points) and good CBD as background. Ample space for many people to shoot and don't have to arrive a few hours early to get a good shooting location. Away from the jostle and bustle from non-photographers. The negatives about shooting from there is that one cannot enjoy the atmosphere of the event and the colour balls in the water cannot be captured in the pictures.
