My wife and I went down to esplanade to see the countdown 2007 fireworks around 10.30pm. Below are some photos taken by F30 handheld
Aboard train at Kallang MRT ![]() Alight at City Hall but bad idea, so crowded ![]() Squeezed into the crowd ![]() Arrived at Esplanade Bridge ![]() |

There was a blockage to Esplanade
![]() Bypass and went to other side near Fullerton Hotel ![]() Squeeze into the crowd again ![]() Could not reach Merlion as the crowd was too congested ![]() |

We decided to stay at the bridge

10.30... hmmm, if u were there at 10pm... when there was suddenly short rain... and the situation was quite 'chaotic'...

really PEOPLE MOUNTAIN, PEOPLE SEA! Especially like the pic showing people walking nonchalantly across Fullerton Bridge ignoring all the cars in between. ![]() |

It was indeed very crowded. For safety, my wife and I decided to stay away from the moving crowd. See an indian guy was ready to spray the foam ... ![]() |

Nice sequence of shots.
Too bad about the blocked view, but this reminds me of my own little journery into that mess. And those who persevered and stayed put through the light rain were duly rewarded with front-seat views..hehe. |
