Have anyone tried DV Rack for direct recording to the laptop / desktop? Would like to know how good it perform? Hope that adobe will bundle it with premiere.

Ya. Tried it for a month. Eliminates time consuming video capture, plus the "almost" real time monitoring. This set-up is not mobile though ... or you may have to get some sort of laptop "body mount" and another person to either shoot or carry the notebook for you.

I've tried it on a Fujitsu and an Acer 8200 series laptop, and FX1E and a small Canon MVC.

Definitely worth the price for my application. Serious Magic has been bought by Adobe so I'm afraid of some price increase in the future.

All the best to you..
