Hi Guys,
I am considering buying a Sigma, 8mm, f3.5 lens to use on my 350D for taking panoramas. Has anyone any experience of this set-up/use. Any comments or advice from anyone on the subject will be welcome. Where is the cheapest place to buy a Sigma 8mm f3.5 in Singapore? Any idea of the price? |

Why not get the Tokina 10-17 Fisheye?

I believe the 8mm is a circular FE while the 10-17 is a non-circular FE....
I stand to be corrected thought |

I'm guessing 8mm to be ~$800 in sg....one can try the usual places for it.
It's pretty expensive for a FE, if someone is going a MO to bring the price down..I'll consider as well! The other option (Peleng 8mm) does not have AF and suffers from some issues with CA/sharpness/light fall off etc. |

With 8mm you don't need AF. Everything should be in focus with that range of lens. |
