AH Butts

Hi Guys,

Went to AH today afternoon to try shooting some butts with my 100-400... Juz love the working distance I get with that lens, but hand holding does get tricky @400mm.. Only thing I hate is that the closest focussing distance is 1.5-2m.. not very practical at times.....

Actually, the shots were slightly underexposed(around 2/3 stops) and had to be slightly pushed for correct exposure.... Didn't use flash due to the slow shutter speed (around 1/320)

not bad already la... considering that urs is a telephoto lens and not a dedicated macro lens..

Maybe its time for u to go and get the canon 500d closeup filter i m considering this option too..

Actually, I'm thinking between the 500d and the Tamron 180mm macro... I have the Tamron 90mm, and it's a great lens, but I hate the working distance... Some shot with the Tamron 90mm:
