I believe you are referring to the humidity in the dry box, and not the temperature?

My dry box is kept between 60-70% RH. I believe others with a dry-cabi would keep it lower?

if you are really keen in keeping your equipment in optimal condition, do get a dry cab...
it is way way way easier to maintain humidity as compared to throwing silica gel into dry box.

I set mine at about 50%.The temp. will depend on the room temperature.
I will on the air-condition for about 10 hours at night so it acts as a double protection to maintain the humility.

Is it necessary ? I left my Dry Carb in the room away from sunlight. The digital hum & temp says its 45% and 29 degree...

One thing that I didn't want to leave it in my master bedroom is because its air conditioned....and scare that when I open it up will have condensation problems.

Why leh ? As long as your silica gels remains blue...I think you should be ok.

Homefix DIY selling those reusable silica gel....one is in a bag that needs to be microwaved when the logo turns pink (I use this as a visual indicator in my dry carb). The other one is larger...when it turns pink, you need to plug it into a electrical socket to recharge the silica gels.

I use a dry cabinet and keep humidity between 45-55%. I don't bother about the temp but also keep the cabinet away from direct sunlight and air conditioning (scared of condensation)
