Default Bangkok trip. lotsa photos!

Ok, make story short. had a 7 days getaway, the cheapest i cud formulate, to bangkok. itinerary is as follows, coach ride to hatyai, domestic flight into bangkok, stayed for 4days 3nights, flew back to hatyai, catch connecting train to KL, stayed in KL for one day (managed to get tixs for a skybridge visit), catch train from KL to Singapore. My, i must say it was very lucky to get everything so smooth flowing, especially the train, as we travelled from 21st dec - 27th dec. stayed cheap lodging, overall was close to 300 sing dollars for the trip, travel and accomd. cud haf been better or cud haf cut short time on travelling by air, but wad to do, only decided to head for bangkok on the 18thdec. anyway, it was a great experience. there are the experiences. feel free to comment! (:

Sam's Lodge
Cheap lodging at sam's lodge. Its around 30USD per night so makes it only around below 50 per night. Clean toilet, daily change of towels and making of the room. Aircon's good, just that the weather in bangkok now is rather chilly, so refrained from turning it on for most of the nights. Location is splendid, just a 3-5mins walk to Asoke station; amenities such as 7-11 and a local store just across the road, road is well served with roadside stalls; westin is just across the road.

There are 2 most poignant things in thailand's culture - their worship for their king, and their worship for buddhism. incredible.
