Will any dedicated flash work with Olympus C750 ?

My friend has an old Vivitar D90 dedicated flash. I think it was for Canon. If I don't use the TTL feature, and only use manual, will it work for Olympus. I don't know the hot shoe pin configuration, so don't know if the trigger pin is compatible with Olympus.

If this flash is not compatible, any recommendations for a cheap flash (less than $100). I don't expect TTL for that price, only something more powerful than the built-in flash.
