Took a couple of videos with my digital camera over the X'mas period. I was wondering if there is a way to enhance my short videos. Do you have any recommendations on video editing software? Is it possible to cut out parts of the video and is it possible to add wordings to video clips?

Depends on how far you want to go.
If you are a Mac user, go Final Cut Pro. If you are a PC user, go Adobe Premiere Pro. Why I chose both and not others ? Because training material is easily available for these two software. ![]() |

Thanks for your suggestion. Just want to do some simple things. Nothing too complicated. Am a PC user.

Then get the full Vegas 7.0 version. Though it lacks some pro feel (like premiere, FCP, Avid, etc), it's still a very worthy NLE to use. Using it since ver 5.0 now 7.0 for 2 years for some of the easier production work, it's great.
