Tamron 17mm-50mm F2.8 on 1D.......any 1 have this combo?
wish to see some images generated out from this set up.

eh APS-C lens on a 1.3 crop?

not a bad idea since 1.3x is also a crop camera

just some vignetting, maybe he can live with it or even do
some cropping afterwards

i wonder how bad is the vignetting...........wish to know on a 1.3x crop body.

Interested to know the answers too. The extra 10mm reach and 1 stop over the 17-40L plus half the cost make it a great option.

It was reviewed at the website that
1) This lens is compatible for 1.5x/1.6x DSLR only.
2) The vignetting is less than 17-55 IS
