Generation gap?

Or bond? Walking along the Singapore River, this scene of contrasts caught my eye - a young girl gazing up the river whilst below an old man sat fishing.

Composition could have been better but I just shot and ran. And just in the nick of time because a man, probably her daddy, went beside the kid and glared at me.
