Video Courses Coming Up On Jan 2007!!!

Hi there guys,

Would be starting courses soon on lighting for film and video this coming Jan 2007 onwards and also short courses on Documentary and Short film Productions.

Those whom would be interested do drop me a mail.
Had been working as a Director Of photography for TV commercials, Broadcast dramas and Documentaries.

Few courses will be conducted with equipment and textbook supplied. The course fees is yet to be finalized.

The courses are;
1. Basic Lighting for Video (3 day course)
2. Camera angles/framing and complex compositions (5 days)
3. Documentary Production (2 weeks)
4. Short film Production (2 weeks)
5. Directing and Acting For Video (2 week)
6. Script to Screen (1 mth)

(Courses are conducted in the evenings)

Basic Video Lighting Course

1st Day (3 hours)

 Theory
• Basics on camera level of sensitivity to light.
• Color Temperatures & Types of White or Black Balancing.
• How to calibrate the monitors or LCD using the color bar.
• Characteristics of different kind of lights.(Hard, Soft, Diffused & Directional)
•
 Practical
• How to set-up a 3 point lighting.
• How does the clock positioning changes simple 3 point lighting.
• Shooting a short interview session with what the students have learnt.

 Debrief

This would be the run down for the first day of the basic lighting course. To know more, students have got to enroll indeed, as I can’t reveal much of the modules. Sorry.

By the way, more information will be released soon regarding these courses. We’ll be starting the courses from mid January 2007 indeed.
