Such a beautiful and obedient piece of gem. The colours come out lovely and is so fast ?!! I presently only have a 50mm f1.4 prime coz I take portraits most of the time. Any recommendations on how I may move on with this gem ?

Congrats on your 30D and 50mm f/1.4, an excellent pairing.
As to your next move, I suggest you continue shooting, all sorts of subjects and settings. Over time, you will understand yourself what are the focal lengths you need. And that's when you know where/what to move on with.

For web usage, its best to save for web if you are using ps. Saves a lot of space.

Oh ... the kit lense cannot make it at Shutterspeeds 1/13 even at ISO1600 ~ underexposed and blurr (simply too slow ?) ?!!! Thank God I stuck with my 50mm prime. Forgot to clarify: I dun have a flash lah ...

Seriously thinking of getting a Tamron AF 17-50mm f/2.8 SP XR Di II LD Aspherical [IF] to compliment my 50mm prime. Without a flash, I realise that I either get blur or under-exposed pics at f4 (maximum already) via the kit lense. Anyone has any idea how much it would cost (*ouch* bleed some more)

I want to get the 50mm f/1.4 for my 30D,
I've already got the 50mm f/1.8. I probably don't need the 50 f/1.4 but I just feel like buying something... ahh damn gas ![]() |
