and I see snapshots.

There is nothing to show the atmosphere of the event. 1 pic of event to show that you were there and 1 pic to show the girl that caught your eye.

u took doesn't mean its not a snapshot.

anyway 1st pic is underexposed, which gives a dark feeling instead of a bright feeling of their smiles.

2nd pic, main subject is OOF so no matter how much merits does the smile make, it just doesn't seem to do the job anymore.

Positive. These photos date back from NDP 2005. Look at the design of the pass on the NSF...

what's wrong with doing snapshots?
IMO, both shots have a pretty interesting composition and it's captured expressions well!

there is nothing wrong with shooting snapshots .... however there are ORDINARY snapshots, GOOD snapshoots as well as ARTISTIC snapshots.... depend on which type you are aiming for.
IMO, the above are ordinary. TS should analyses the comments, and make room for improvement instead of defending oneself, but if the TS is satisified with the images, then juz ignore the comments given.

Finding the proper title of the pics counts. Pic 1 titled students in parade, however I find almost all of the carrying Mac for lunch. Some playing, some walking, not co-ordinated. It feels more like a school's outing.

If it's expression you are going for... a closer crop would be nice. Cuz there's a lot of other distraction fighting for attention. Also, I tink the AF have focused on the boy in specs behind instead.
