    Default In door Sports Photography

    Would like to practice in door Sports shooting, such as, Table Tennis, badminton....

    any recommendations ?

    Try not to use flash.

    If you are using nikon, 70-200mm f/2.8 VR is good.

    it helps if you subject is looking at his/her opponent to do the next move (most of the time subject will be pretty much static)

    It help you not to bring tripod . VR will help vibration on camera because hand shake. For the subject movement, VR can't help.

    In most of the sports event, the organiser had appointed official photograher. So, new birds or unauthorised photograhers are disallow to take any shot. Is there any place which I could visit ?

    i did not see b4 movement shake where the subject is still sharp??

    sport photography != capturing movement.... you gotta capture their expression as well (tired, excited... etc)

    if you are stuck with the mindset of just capturing movement, then be it. happy shooting
