Default Can bring DSLR with 135mm prime lens when you go for a concert?

    Hi,
Just want to know if it's allow to bring a DSLR with 135mm prime lens into a concert hall?
I'll be going for a concert performance in January and will like to bring my DSLR along.. with a 135mm prime lens..
I heard that it's not allow to bring in any long zoom lens.. but is a 135mm prime lens ok?

err depending on venues i suppose. i believe VCH does allow photography but not esplanade. i'm not too very sure. everything goes by the book but i advise u to bend the rules without getting being checked by security first haha.

and please be ethical not to flash or attract too much attention as it might disturb the performance and audience. =)
    I Love You :)

Take both its legs down first, then cuts its tail, next is shoot between its eyes:devil:

Esplande does not allow photography UNLESS you are an official photographer hired by the event organisers.

Ha.. Ha.. That is exactly what my wife said..
But for me.. I enjoy taking photo.. as well. So, it's double enjoying when watching the concert and taking photo.

KM5D mirror slap very loud. be careful if you're snapping during quiet moments in the concert - you will be heard, and it's not very polite. i did it once without thinking, and won't do it again.

Yeap.. I hope Sony will fix this in their next DSLR release..
Lately I've tried Nikon, Canon and Olympus.. KM DSLR mirror slap is like the 80's SLR.. doesn't feel like digital..
I think with the music going on, no one will notice me snapping the photos..

I'm not going to take in the big Zoom lens.. I think a 135mm prime should be OK..
For minolta 135mm is really small lens.. can put inside the pocket

    Hmm.. let me visualize..
Height - same as can drink
Diameter.. maybe 2/3 of a can drink.. I think it should be around that size..

    No.
It is bad manners to snap away while others are trying to enjoy the concert.
It is terribly unfair to the performer.

The bouncer should bounce you out.
Others around you will think " which planet did this guy come from? So obiang, don't know how to behave in a concert"
