I'm not very good with such events, as such i think my colours abit the weird. Anyways it's good practice for me and i can only hope to be better.

from your pictures.. i think you need to correct your WB or do more post processing..
sidetrack, are you standing near around the macdonalds area ?

if you noticed my nick, its kinda self explainatory..
as for the other slrs that i saw at bugis.. (for those people whom i dont know)

Nikon camp..
- D200 + 70-300 VR (on wooden stool)
- D70s + 50-500 Bigma (on ladder)
- D70s + 100-300 (tall guy)
- 1 film slr from nikon, not sure of which model/lens is it, flash and body is painted silver though..
*not sure if your set up is mentioned in the above list though

Canon camp..
- 20/30D + 70-200 non-IS/IS ? (standing near MCD, too far to see which cam/lens is it..)

official crew..
- D70s + 18-35? (female)
- 350D + 18-55 kit (male)

ooops didn't see your nick, must be the late nights playing tricks on my eyes.
I was the one with the D200 standing on the wooden stool(if it's the macdonalds chair you're talking about), and i'm using 80-200.

Nah i didn't go the Bukit Panjang one, want to coz got cute Jia Hui there... .... but i went to take some shots of a red cross event at Dohby Ghaut MRT instead. Bugis was damn hot la...

dono izzit me or wat, the contrast are far too high on some pic. the white are blown without details while the black are too black without details as well.

imho lawr3nc3 picture are more neutral in contrast (nt very sure since he posted thumbnail size photos)

yes she has. but i think she's hosting this because she's doing it to promote Bugis Junction, not for some Yes93.3 event. Towards the end of the autograph session she keeps "advertising" that the fans can go and shop at Bugis Junction.

sorry, my screen isn't calibrated and it looks ok-ish to me on my 19" samsung. dunno how to rectify this unless i get a screen calibrator or change a monitor. issit really that bad?

btw.. there is no Yes933 logo for the bugis event but the logo 'appears' at the bkt panjang event..

my 19" viewsonic ain't calibrated, but im pretty sure some shots are a bit high on contrast. most are still pretty alright.
