Where is this place?
What is the backpack they are carrying? Saw two with the same backpacks. Saw someone with a telescope attached to a camera ![]() |

If he is who I think he is, what he does is called "digiscoping" and he does it with an Olympus dSLR attached to a spotting scope. Very good at it too. Last edited by AncientMariner; 22nd December 2006 at 07:24 PM. |

Broccoli, you missed the biggest catch, the one with the Sigmonster, Sigma 300-800mm with Nikon D2Xs, Black widow Gimbal head and Gitzo tripod. ![]() |

Only 600mm lah. considered the norm for Birders. Haha. The flash is with a Flash extender attached. A must for longer reach. For infor, this guy flew in to join the group outing. This is what I called passion. Considered a shame to many here who gives lousy excuses not to join photo shoot.
Jedi, ops, my eyes need checkup, didnt notice the Sigmonster as it was only half...haha. |
