hi
my 350d suffered from a small but stupidly careless drop the other day. all functions are fine, except the built in flash gets stuck and needs to be pulled out manually. can i know where to get it checked and repaired? im a pretty amatuer photographer and shoot only for fun... the 350d was a bit of an indulgence really so no plans of replacing it. i will be back in singapore in january and get it looked at then. thanks in advance for any advice regards hamzah |

If the cost of repairing is high perhaps you could up your ISO and do more available light photography or use an external flash. |

I sent to Canon for servicing and received the camera the very next day. When asked what is wrong with my camera flash, he said he dunno. However, since its still under warranty, its free. ![]() |

Once I dropped my 350D+battery grip+L lens and my feet managed to cushion the blow, had to send my feet for servicing instead............

Me too own EOS 350D. With the small size and NO grip on the left side, and awkward balance with any lens slightly larger/heavier than the kit lens, the chances of a drop always seem so real.
So.o.o.o many EOS 350D drops!!! CANON should accept it as design defect and replace all these F.O.C. I AM SERIOUS ![]() Last edited by hitkhanna; 16th December 2006 at 06:41 PM. |
