Dimage 7Hi Frimware Update Ver 1.01e
To all who own the 7Hi.. there's a new firmware update at Minolta Europe's site.
Check it out. But seems the only change is new compatibility with SD card via SD to CF card adapter... Please check your current frimware.. only works for Ver X.XX e Instructions are given on the download site. Cheers All |

Set ur tab to "Setup"

mine also 1.00e... a lot of pple complainign of problems w/ the website..
at any rate, no, din upgrade.. coz i not using SD at all,  not much difference after this, it seems, tho' someone did complain the transition from b/w to color (under diff lighting conditions) would be harder than normal (sudden change?) -- for the 7ug .. i think |

There is also a firmware update for 7i owners at the Minolta Europe site.

Found this on dpreview forum.....anyone tried these updates? Is there a diff in the updates across US, Europe and Asia? Any updates from Minolta Asia?

That firmware for Dimage are for those with existing firmware x.xxu, the 'u' representing United States? Mine 7i got an initial firmware of 1.10e and had just updated it to 1.11e... have not tested much to see if got any bugs... hopefully not...  |

'u' is for United States. 'e' for European Most of the cams sold here are 'e' models. |
