Default "Help! Does your D80 SD slot appears too tight?"

Just bought a new set of Nikon D80 camera from the shop. When I try to take out my 2GB Toshiba SD Card (after ejecting it), it still tightly stuck to the slot. I have to pull it with a bit of force to get the poor card out. Wat is wrong? Worried it will damage my 2GB card. ....Worried LotusFairy/Beginner.

Mine is ok, not tight. Doesn't need extra strength to pull out.

worried come back after Late January, Nikon dun admit it..

mine was a 2GB SD card...if it spoilt, i am doomed.
I have tried other cards, toshiba and kingston...same same...i think the left part of the card slot is causing the jam..

Same here... nothin to worry about. Been usin it for 2 mths n evrythinz fine...

I believe the tightness is at the sides n doesn't seem to have any impact on the contact points at all.

My pleasure...

Anyways, IIRC, it is advisable not to keep removin SD cards from the slots. Unlike CF cards, frequent removin/inserting of SDs will eventually damage the contacts.

So itz best to transfer pix via USB.
